After eggs, sausage and toast we went to hike up Cone peak but the road was closed. We hiked up the road and found this bulldozer and Sean was being bad. We had fun and lunch. After lunch Sean had to walk down to the car and I didn't have to go with Sean back to our campsite. We had fun a little bit here then went for a walk in the river that had a little waterfall next to our campsite. We had dinner than went over the log. My favorite part of the trip was getting our first RV. I like sleeping in the tent with mommy.

Where are you Luke? Are you close to Carmel, or in Big Sur? I hope you guys didn't start up that tractor......is that why Sean had to go back to camp?

Hey Mom and Dad . . . We were driving up towards Big Sur and turned right to take the road through Hunter Liggett. We were planning on staying one night on the coast and one night at this creek campground halfway across, but all the campsites on Route 1 were full. So we ended up staying 2 nights on the creek. You are right about rain . . . We got some Friday night and had to do the "tent shuffle" at 1 AM due to the mysterious missing rain fly. :). And unfortunately, we had to pack all our camping stuff up this morning muddy and wet. So that is kind of a bummer!

Luke, those excavators look a lot bigger when you put 4 kids on them. Neat pictures. I had some equipment in my unit in the Marines. I had a bulldozer, backhoe and 2 front end loaders in my platoon. Have fun on the trip!
