The Test

Today, we had a breakfast of eggs and toast. Then we biked to mirror lake.
When we got there, we had lunch. This is me having my lunch in a tree. Then we biked to Yosemite village, had a snack, and some ice cream, then biked to the beginning of the lower Yosemite fall trail. Then we walked the trail. We couldn't bike it.
This picture is of the beginning of the trail.
This picture is of me and the creek that comes from the waterfall.
This picture is of all the trees from a mouse's point of view looking up.
This is part of the creek before it goes under the bridge.
This is the bridge.
This is along the path.
This is the beginning of the Search and Rescue talk.
The talk was really scary. It told about the people who died and the people who were really badly hurt. In one part of it, it said there were some people who never were found.

This part of the blog is a test.
This is the first question. What kind of a tree is this?
The second question is: How can you safely cross a rushing rapid river?  With a child on your back?
I will answer these questions on my next blog post.

  2. Ponderosa pine and use the bridge ( thanks NanaMO's)
It looks like there is plenty of water in the rivers and water falls this year - they need it in California....beautiful!

  3. I like the mouse picture. I'm going to guess sequoia for the tree and very carefully for the river crossing. Hopefully at the widest point (so the river is slower) and with a guide line.
