Camping at the Beach

Hi, this is Sean😀. Today we woke up to the delicious smell of campfire"d" bacon and eggs. We ate them not surprisingly, quickly. Then we found 3 caterpillars, and after that we got packed up, got in the car, and had an exciting tour of Central California. Mom and dad couldn't find our campsite so Grace, Katie, and Luke whined all the way to our campsite. When we got there we got unpacked, set up our tents, and got settled. The beach was about 500 yards away. On the other side of the campsite there was a grove of eucalyptus trees, where monarch butterflies stay for the winter! After exploring our campsite, we went to the beach and built a fort of sand because the water was too cold to go in. Afterwards we went back to the campsite and a dinner of fresh fish caught two days ago.  It was delicious. We got in our tents. I had to move to dad's tent because Luke was goofing off. I got to sleep quickly, it was an exciting day.
Above is the grove of eucalyptus trees.

Those were two pictures of our campsite.

  1. This looks like a lot of fun. The butterflies are so beautiful. I went to the Phila Flower Show and they had a room FULL of all different sorts of butterflies! They would even land on you. One landed on my shoulder and stayed with me. Glad you are having such fun!
