Traveling
I was shaken awake at five in the morning but never the less, really excited! We drove all the way through Iowa, we are in Nebraska now. We have seen the two mighty rivers,The Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. It was a long day of driving and not yet done with it. We are a day's drive from Denver. The RV is huge thirty feet long and about ten feet high. Our car is hitched up to a trailer around as long as it. We had dinner at a rest stop a little while away away from Omaha. We have a loft over the drivers seat and we can get in it to sleep. We have a school with different classes combined. (In the RV!) We still have a lot of school because we want to get a lot of it done before we get to a fun place. Cross country driving is fun, but it results in a long tiring day. We have a home right hear on wheels, refrigerator, many beds, and eight seats plus the drivers and shotgun seat. We hopefully are going to get a bit farther before we go to bed. When drive down the road and you can see car drivers look at us then merge into different lane. No wonder, our vehicle is as big as a truck. We will drive through Nebraska today and Colorado tomorrow, then just plain fun for the rest of the trip.

Thanks for filling us in on your trip, Sean! Where did you spend the night? At a rest stop on the highway? How is the sleeping? Does Luke snore? Did it snow at all on the drive?
ReplyDeleteBe sure to let us know what fun things you get to see and do in the Rocky Mountains. Are you going to Rocky Mountain National Park? Grandma and I were there last Fall and it is beautiful, but there must be a lot of snow at this time of year. Be sure to take some pictures!

Fantastic, Sean! Thanks for keeping us informed. We're looking forward to hearing all about Colorado--it might be my favorite state, though California is awesome. Our forecast is for rain this weekend--RAIN!!!--that doesn't usually happen in San Diego. Looks like we'll visit some museums this year!
ReplyDeleteSee you soon! Keep us "in the loop!"
Love, Grandma
