The grass is green!!
Hi, this is Sean😆.Top to bottom: lava fields, the mountains, and flowers. When we got to Death Valley we were expecting more flowers. We saw a lot but not as much as we were expecting. We did a really cool waterfall hike and at the end there was a thirty foot waterfall. The vegetation was amazing there were trees, flowers green ground, lots of water and smaller around two to four foot waterfalls. I couldn't believe that there could be so much green in the desert. We had a lot of fun there and I saw five lizards, two scorpions, six water bugs, a butterfly, and a bunch of birds. We drove to Aunt Anne Marie's house and played. The grass was really green and it was eighty degrees outside. I made friends with Nora (our cousin). She really likes me now! Desmond (the dog) is nice and likes me to. We had a really good dinner and we were really tired. We went home and got right to bed. This is going to be a great next four days.

Once again, thanks for your post, Sean......I really look forward to hearing about your travels! Glad you made it to Aunt Ann Marie's. Maybe you can rest up a little bit now - staying in one place! And the warm weather probably feels good.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you didn't get a picture of the scorpion - and no snakes either? And butterflies? It doesn't sound like Death Valley!
See you at the end of the week! Grandma says to be sure to practice piano while you are out there!
Love, Grandpa
It is nearly dinnertime on Tuesday, so by now you have probably enjoyed the circular trail that goes around the China Lake base. Grandpa and I really love that loop--and walked it many times. You have your bicycles with you, right? So that's a really fun to travel there.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your visit in the desert, and we'll see you in beautiful San Diego on Friday. I spent this morning baking cookies, so there might be one left for you by Friday . . .
Love, Grandma T.
I doubt it!

Sean,
ReplyDeleteWell it is not quite 80 degrees here in Kentucky but for March it is warm. I have even taken the chance that the snow is all over and put the snow shovel away. I hope I have not jinxed myself. I bet Aunt Ann Marie does not even have a snow shovel.
Tomorrow is Saint Patrick's day so I hope you have something green to wear. Well, your name,Sean might just be Irish enough.
