Then we went to the tide pools and we saw crabs, sea gulls, sea anenomes, snails, pelicans, seals, barnacles, and scrub jays. Then Sean, Katie, and I made a mini navy out of sea weed. It was fun! This picture is me pointing at a seal in the water.

Grandma here:
ReplyDeleteWow Grace! Great pictures and great commentary. We missed the tide pools but plan to go back--it was so crowded there was no parking--and we didn't have time to hike any farther that day. I've never seen the knights armor there before--I guess the knights of old got a workout just WEARING the armor!
The beaches here are incredible, yes? All that Grayslake is lacking are the waves . . .
Love you, Grandma T.
Grace,
ReplyDeleteMAN, you 4 look pretty darn mean in all of that armor. Maybe the knights of old were mean because they had the wear all that heavy metal armor. Seals are fun to watch, aren't they?
