The bee swarm!

 Hi, this is Grace. Today I woke up and went to breakfast we had banana pancakes they were delicious!!! Then we did school, Mom made it fun. There were three stations; a play station, a screen station, and a school station, it was fun! Then we had lunch from a sub sandwich place. Afterwords, we went on a hike. We stopped in a tree grove and played Indian. There were spiky things in the trees too. Then we went on and saw a huge grass hopper! We moved on and saw a swarm of bees! Then we almost got locked in the parking lot!

More Beach

Hi, this is Sean😄. Today I woke up to a beautiful day. We got ready to go to the beach again today. When we finally got there it was too windy to stay long so we went and bought bagels. We went and ate them at Grandma and Grandpa's apartment. We played some board games and played outside. Then, we went to the beach again to see the huge sandcastle. It was over six feet tall and of course after seeing his sandcastles we all wanted to make sandcastles. We made sandcastles for about an hour. Then went home and had dinner than went to sleep. It was a tiring day, but really fun.

The air and space museum

Today Dad, Sean, and I went to a science museum. We meant to go to the air and space museum. These are some pictures from the museum.

This picture is of us after the museum watching some "live entertainment" at the place we had dinner.  It was called mariachi dancing, and we were in Old Town San Diego.

Easter day already!

I woke up this morning and realized it was Easter! Alleluia it is Easter Day already! Isn't it? It is! I'm extremely excited and happy I'm all wound up! First, we went to church and sang songs like JesusChrist has Risen Today, alleluia, and Our Triumphant Holy Day, alleluia! Who has Once Upon the Cross, alleluia! It was really fun! After church we got donuts, yum! I got a Chocolate Long John! Then we went to Aunt Jennifer's house for a party. There was a guava at her house. A guava is an Asian fruit! It is really good! See! 

Surf day

Hi, this is Sean😄. The pictures are all of us surfing. First we woke up had a quick breakfast and got on    the road. We drove for about half an hour until we got to the surf lesson place. We got surfboards and wetsuits and went to the ocean. We had about a two hour lesson,the water was freezing but surfing is really fun. We stayed at the beach all day surfing, swimming, and boogie-boarding. We went home to meet dad's friend Mr. Askew. When we got there we ate a really good dinner. After dinner Mr. Askew told me the three D's. The three D's are desire, discipline, and determination. When ever you fail in life you have to ask yourself which of the three d's you didn't have. After his wonderful speech he played his guitar for us. He is really good at playing the guitar. We talked some more after he played I had to go to bed because it was almost 9:00. I wish Mr. Askew could live in Grayslake because he is really nice. It was a really fun day and I was tired.

Today

Hi this is Katie. Today we decited that we would take the Coaster(Luke calles it the "toaster!")to Oceanside for the Good Friday service. We got on the top layer of the front car. We got past the first stop,(not ours!) then when we were 1 Minute away from the next stop when the train stopped, it had broken down!!!!!!!! We waited 3 and a half hours until help came! Then we got off at Solana Beach, because we had missed our service. We played for a hour and a half at the beach. Sean, Grace, and I played wave tag in the waves. How you play wave tag is you wade into the water holding 2 rocks, one in each hand. Then you step over all the waves below your knees, jump over the waves below your waist, and run away from the waves higher than your waist, and you get knocked over a few times. When you get hit by a wave, you drop one of the stones. When you have no stones left you have to tag one of the waves without getting hit on a body part other than your hands. It is really fun!

Fun, (tide pools, saw lots of animals, wading, ect.)

First we went to the visitor center and got jounor ranger badges.  We saw a navy sub being towed in to port.

Then we went to the tide pools and we saw crabs, sea gulls, sea anenomes, snails, pelicans, seals, barnacles, and scrub jays. Then Sean, Katie, and I made a mini navy out of sea weed. It was fun! This picture is me pointing at a seal in the water.

After that we stood in the water and wated for the waves. When they came we yelled as they  came up on us. A few of them splashed on are heads. Sean diped his hair in the water and made it stand up. At the visitor center we dressed up in knight close. Wow that's heavy!  We had lunch there to.

March 22, 2016

Hi, this is Katie:). The picture is of the sunset today. In the morning we had school, then we tried to drive the SHORT drive to the bike trail. We could see the bike trail from our house. Mom's road map doesn't show where one road goes over or under another road, so we took a tour of San Diego's flowers while mom tried to get there. When we finally got there, it took a while to get the bikes out of the trailer, but when we finally finished we rode off. Sean and I were the fastest, so we went fast until we found a nice bay to play at. Sean, Grace, and I made an island out of sand while Mom and Luke played at the park nearby. Then we went to the airport to pick up dad. Then, he ordered pizza as we went home. We ate the pizza when we got home, then went to bed.

The day, by Grace

I woke up today, it's a new day! First, I spent some time reading the bible. Then mom called me in to breakfast. Next, we did school, and went to the allergy shots. Afterwords, we met Aunt Jennifer at the library. At the library we got to do yoga and get some books. I checked out the books my self! Lastly, we went to Aunt Jennifer's house for a party. We played until dinner, it's my favorite, hamburgers! Yum, yum, yum! 

We've adopted a pet! Her name is Peeper. We adopted her because she keeps pecking on our window!

Beach day!

Hi, this is Sean😀. 

When we woke up in the morning we decided to go to the beach! (YAY!) 

Then we drove to church for Palm Sunday. It was a real nice church, even better than our own private chapel. I sleep on the couch which is right by the stained glass window (top). 

After church we went to the grocery store. Finally we got good food so we don't have to eat out every day. 

Then we went home and the kids made their lunch while mom got our swimsuits out of the trailer. Everybody got ready for the beach, sunblock and boogie boards. (And all that other stuff) We all loaded up into the car and went all the way over the Coronado Bay Bridge (middle-bottom)and got to the beach. 

I ran onto the beach and started playing in the sand with Andrew and Joey. 

We made two huge dams one was at least five feet long holding back about one hundred gallons of water (bottom)!!! Luke helped (middle) along with Katie and Grace. 

We played there for so long, afterwords I was freezing (middle-top)! 

We went home and all took showers to rinse the sand off.

Then we had dinner and went to bed.It was a great day! I hope we can go back to the beach.

The second day in San Diego.

 Today was Nicolisses baptism day. The baptism party was fun

Clean up mom!

Hi, this is Sean😄. Top to bottom: two owl pictures, a juniper tree and me, a yucca and me, two of the scenery on the hike, the body less  head of Jack, and a tree out of place. Today is clean the RV day, hence the name Clean up Mom. First we did our daily school work. Aunt Ann Marie drove to the RV park and we went on a hike. We saw a lot of flowers and found a juniper tree with quiz-zillions of berries on it. It was really green because there was a stream. Dad, Katie, and 

I got farther than the others. On the way back Aunt Ann showed us the owl we think it was a great horned owl. We went to Aunt Ann's house and had lunch. I played with Nora, and she was lots of fun. We went back to the RV and mom was almost done cleaning. We had dinner at Aunt Anne's house, and then we went to the climbing wall. When we got back to the RV we were all really tired. We got to bed quickly. I can't wait to be in San Diego.

San Diego

(I am sure there is a way to fix the order of the posts, but I can't figure it out in 5 minutes or less. So just know that this post is supposed to be the most recent, posted AFTER Sean's.  You also may notice that this post has not been edited in the least.  We have been very busy, and are ending each day VERY tired! So bear with us!) :). Enjoy . . . .

By Grace. we drove to sandy ago and went to my cousins hous they have a toy train. We all got atren to engineer it. After that we went to a hous that we rented we can stay here for two hole weeks!

My Birthday.

(Today is my birthday. I'm 9 years old now.) Today when I woke up Mom started to hum Happy Birthday. That was the start of the day. Then we got dressed and did our morning stuff then we biked to Aunt Anne Marie's house and had pancakes and BACON. Yum, Yum! After that, we played a bit, then around lunch time, Sean and I had spelling tests. After that I got 2 big bags of carrots and we went to the horse place where they have pens and pens of wild, rescued, horses. We fed the horses the carrots. The first pen of horses were not interested. The second pen had donkey like things, they were not interested ether. The next couple of pens of horses DEVOURED the carrots (I have a video on another post). On the way back to the car we saw 2 horses. 1 horse was pulling the other horses tag off. He had gotten it off 1 ear when the other horse pulled her head away. We pet some horses muzzles. Then we got in the car and went to a Mexican restaurant called Corona Castle. Mom got the bar, Dad did too, Sean got a HUGE burrito, I got 2 small tacos, Grace got a BIG hamburger with LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of fries, we all shared with Luke. We all got fruit. After lunch Sean and Grace walked to Aunt Anne Marie's house. When they got back they had a lizard in Sean's shoe!

They looked up what it was and what it eats. It was a southern horned lizard,it eats 90% ants and10% fruit. Grace found it some ants and a strawberry. They named it Dragon. Then we did more school. Then we played until it was time for dinner. For dinner we had hot dogs,  brots, and fruit.

This is my plate of fruit.(I ate it all) for dissert we had ice cream Sundays, (we could pick the toppings, chocolate sauce, chocolate sprinkles, and whipped cream.(It comes out fast!)

This is me with my birthday ice cream with 9 candles on it. After the party we biked home in the dark. When we got home we went to bed and I started me Birthday Blog.[I will answer the challenge now. Sedimentation means the laying down of sand. Lithification means turning to stone.
