The ghost town

Today I woke up to a breakfast of cereal and oatmeal.  Then we had to go bring Sean to get his allergy shots, but I got to go to the park with Katie and Dad and Luke while Mom and Sean went to allergy shots.  After the park, we all went to get new shoes.  I got some nice purple ones.  Then we went and had lunch at a Mexican restaurant.  I had nachos with cheese and tomatoes and a side of rice. The rice was spicy.  Then we went to the ghost town.
First, we went onto the train that goes around the ghost town.  The train was really fun.  The guy talked about the mine.

We learned on the train that the Indians called the Superstition Mountains "Thunder" because they heard the earthquakes inside the mountain and thought it was thunder.
Mom thinks that the rules on the jail should be our travel rules.
The museum was fun.  Luke and Sean played with the cards and the white and red things.  We saw the treasure maps in the museum from the mine. One of the clues was "the face is looking at it" and we saw the face on our hike.  So if we go up to the face we can find gold!
Then we went to this place where we could shoot pretend guns at targets, and if we hit the targets there were characters who did something fun and weird.  We also went to a reptile exhibit and saw some really cool animals like the lizard we saw on the hike. It was a really fun day.  We came home and saw that one of the trees in our yard had fallen across the patio.  We were really surprised.  It was really windy today!

  1. Those do look like good travel rules. I'm not sure that meal plan works well with only 2 daily out house visits and a car trip though.

  2. I agree with Uncle Kevin......the first 3 rules look appropriate but I don't think the menue works too well for a family traveling in a contained space.
