Hi, this is Sean😀. Today, I woke up and remembered it was my turn for the hike. I had breakfast then got ready. Mom dropped us off for the hike while she and the others went to church. We drank some water then started walking. At first it was an easy uphill with some short downhill slopes. After some time it started sprinkling. It was funny to think the cacti were saying, "ahh, water." Then when it ended "soak it up, soak it up this is all the water you get for the next three months". We kept walking straight into a lush vegetation area. There were lots and lots and lots of hummingbirds and bees. After that the trail got harder. At first it was a very rocky uphill then it turned into steep slick rock. In the middle of the slick rock climb there was a small basin with a pool of water in it.
After we explored we went back down. Mom picked us up and we went home. We had dinner then read and went to bed. Here are two pictures of the flat iron from the bottom of the hike.⬇️
Sean,
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a hike full of all sorts of different things to discover and see. I know your Dad enjoyed taking such an interesting hike with you.

This is awesome! Look at how beautiful and bright the little yellow flowers are. And they must not get much rain -- only I guess with the Booher boys are hiking! These are really wonderful pictures. I LOVE the ND sweatshirt! LOve AAB
